Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy

Welcome to (the ‘Site’). We uphold the rights of intellectual property and expect others to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, Title 17, United States Code, Section 512(c), copyright owners or their representatives can issue a takedown notice to us via our DMCA Agent. As an internet service provider, we are protected by the “safe harbor” provisions of the DMCA against infringement claims. To file a legitimate infringement claim, you must provide specific information as outlined below:

Notice of Infringement – Claim

  1. A signature of the copyright owner or their authorized representative.
  2. Details of the copyrighted work allegedly infringed.
  3. Identification of the infringing material and its location to enable us to locate it.
  4. Contact information of the complainant, including name, address, email, phone number, and fax number.
  5. A statement asserting that the use of the material is unauthorized by the copyright owner.
  6. A declaration that the information provided is accurate and that the complainant is authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Section 17 USC §512(f) warns of penalties for knowingly misrepresenting information in an infringement notification. Takedown notices should be sent via our Contact page, preferably through email for prompt processing.

We may disclose the identity and details of any copyright infringement claim to the alleged infringer. By submitting a claim, you acknowledge that your identity and claim may be shared with the alleged infringer.

Counter Notification – Restoration of Material

If you receive a takedown notice due to a copyright infringement claim, you can submit a counter notification to have the material restored on the site. The counter notification must be in writing and include the following elements as per 17 USC Section 512(g)(3):

  1. Your signature.
  2. Information about the material taken down and its original location.
  3. A statement affirming that the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and consent to jurisdiction of the court.

Send the counter notice via our Contact page, with email being the preferred method of communication.

Repeat Infringer Policy

We have a strict policy regarding copyright infringement. Under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act’s requirements, we track DMCA notices and strive to identify repeat offenders. Accounts of those violating our policy will be terminated.
